Vaikunta Ekadasi Celebrations in Telangana

Vaikunta Ekadashi is celebrated with full fervour in Telangana. Temples are crowded with devotees from early morning. All the temples are brightly lit with spiritual splendor. As it is a holy day, devotees are queuing up at the temples from early morning to visit the temples.

Darshans start at midnight for Tirumala Srivari Darshan. Many celebrities visit Srivara. All the famous temples like Tirumala, Yadadri, Annavaram, Bhadrachalam, Dwarka Tirumala, Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, Anantapuram, Dharmapuri attract devotees.

Darshans for Tirumala Srivari darshan start at 12.05 midnight. The dignitaries, ministers, MLAs, MLCs and members of the board of trustees make arrangements to visit. Devotees who receive tokens from Srivani are allowed to have darshan from 5 to 6 am. Common devotees are allowed to visit Srivari from 6 am. TTD make arrangements to provide darshan of Srivari to devotees through Vaikuntha Dwaram in Tirumala till 11th of this month.

Vaikunta Ekadasi

Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District: On the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi, devotees visit Yadadri Sri Lakshminarasimhaswamy through the north gate. For the first time in Yadadri, devotees are flocking in large numbers to visit Sri Swami through the northern gate. At 6 hours 48 minutes in the morning, Lakshminarasimha visited the devotees through the northern gate.

Jagityala District: Devotees throng Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple in Dharmapuri. Devotees perform special pujas and abhishekas on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. Devotees line up in queues to visit Swami through the northern gate.

At 2:30 in the morning, the temple priests perform maha ksheerabhishekas to the Moola Virats of Lakshmi Sametha Yoga, Ugranarasimha and Venkateswara Swami Swami. At five o'clock in the morning the gates of Vaikuntha were opened with mangala instruments and chanting of Vedic mantras. Senior Congress leader, MLC Jeevan Reddy visited Sri Lakshminarasimhaswamy of Dharmapuri on the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi.

Rajannasirisilla District: Mukkoti Ekadashi celebrations go on grandly at Vemulawada Rajanna Temple. Devotees have darshan of Swami through the north door. Earlier, the priests and officials of the temple perform the pallaki service in the temple and circumambulate the idols three times during the big services. After Maha Harati to Swami Warla, Kode Mokkulu and Arjita services start.

In the morning, the priests under the direction of Appala Bhimashankar Sharma, the chief priest of the temple, perform Mahanyasa Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam to Sri Swami along with special pujas to Sri Lakshmi Ganapati, Sri Rajarajeswara Devi Ammavar, and Sri Ananta Padmanabha Swami.

A special pooja is performed by enshrining the idols of Sri Parvati Rajarajeswara Swamy and Sri Lakshmi Anantha Padmanabha Swamy on the Ambari vehicle decorated with different kinds of flowers.

After that, the Utsavamurthys are brought out through the Raja Gopuram and given darshan to the devotees.

Karimnagar District: Devotees line up in large numbers for the Uttar Dwara Darshan on the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi at the oldest Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Sundaragiri village of Chigurumamidi mandal.

Devotees perform special pooja on the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi at Ashtalakshmi temple in Korutla town of Jagittala district .

Manchiryala District: Manchiryala town Vishwanatha Temple, Mandamarri Venkateswara Swamivari Temple devotees have darshan of Swamivars through the north door darshan. Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations go on with grandeur at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Karimnagar. Devotees have darshan of Swamivar through the north door.

Devotees throng Dharamshala Venkateswara Temple in Adilabad District Centre. On the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, Swami is visited through the north gate. Devotees worship at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy Temple in Sir Silk Colony, Kagaj Nagar, Bhim District, Komuram. Devotees continue to throng Devarakota Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Nirmal District Centre. Devotees line up from early morning to see the northern gate.

Nizamabad: Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations are going on with grandeur across the district. There is a rush of devotees in the temples from early morning. Devotees throng to have a darshan of Swami in Uttara Tirupati Kshetra of Gangastan.

Bodhan town: Devotees flock in large numbers to visit the Lord at the Sri Venkateswara Temple along with Sri Lakshmi Godavari in Venkateswara Colony.

Warangal: Temples are thronged with devotees as Mukkoti Ekadashi is celebrated. Devotees flock in large numbers for darshan through Uttara.

Jayashankar Bhupalapalli district: Mukkoti Ekadashi celebrations are going on in Kaleswaram. Devotees visit Swami through Uttardwara darshan in Sri Rama Temple. Sri Sitarama Chandra Swami is giving darshan to the devotees on the Garuda vehicle.

Mahbubnagar: Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations are going on at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple established under Palamuru branch of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. Devotees are having darshan of Swami through the north door.

Secunderabad: Devotees throng the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Sitaphal Mandi Namala Gundu. A large number of devotees attend on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. Visiting Lord Venkateswara through Vaikuntha Dwaram. Former MLC Ramachandra Rao also visit Swamy.

Secunderabad: Devotees throng the Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumalagiri. Lord Venkateswara is having darshan through Vaikuntha Dwaram.

Hyderabad: Chandanagar Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple is celebrating Vaikuntha Ekadashi grandly. Devotees visit Swami through the northern gate.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi, a large number of devotees throng the Ranganatha Swamy temple in Jiyaguda. The artists from Calcutta decorate the temple very beautifully.

A large number of devotees perform puja at Sri Kanigiri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Uppal Swaroop Nagar. On the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadashi, Uttar Dwara darshans continue.
